FunBabies Home Childcare in Germantown — run by licensed provider Farida Din with the assistance of Sayeed Din — comes highly recommended by parents in the community. Farida has cared for my son since he was 3 months old—he’s almost 2 now—and I truly couldn’t ask for better care. Farida and her husband Sayeed feel like family. They’re so loving towards my son and always happy to answer my (many!) new-mom questions, even on weekends.
Their home is always clean, organized, and welcoming. Farida stays up to date on all her health and safety trainings, makes sure each child is meeting milestones, gives them outdoor time, teaches them to follow directions and be kind to one another, and cooks healthy, homemade meals. She also follows our lead at home—for example, when we were transitioning from bottles to a cup, she made sure to do the same at daycare, which made the process so much smoother for our son. When I had concerns about his speech, she encouraged me to reach out to Infants and Toddlers, which was so helpful.
My son runs in every morning with a big hug and calls her and her husband Nano and Abu (grandma and grandpa in Urdu)—which says it all. I’d recommend Farida and Sayeed’s daycare to anyone looking for warm, family-like childcare where kids feel safe, loved, and supported in their growth every day.

We are so grateful for the childcare provided by Fun Babies. My son has been with Mrs. Din since he was 4 months old and he is now approaching his 4th birthday. She treats him (and me) as if he is family. The care is so much better than anything a child would receive at a commercial daycare. My son receives education daily, working on numbers, letters, colors, shapes, emotions, and many other fundamental skills. My son continues to meet appropriate social and educational milestones as a result. We have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know everyone and look forward to another year with them before kindergarten.
